Sensory Storytimes
Sensory Storytimes are small-group programs designed to create a welcoming environment for children who may not yet thrive in traditional library storytime settings. They provide early literacy experiences for children who have developmental disabilities, atypical sensory processing and/or other conditions.
Language Fun Family Storytime
Enjoy Family Storytime At The Public Library Language Fun Storytimes were developed in collaboration with Vancouver Coastal Health’s Speech and Language Pathologists. These programs offer children with speech/language delays the opportunity to learn and practice sounds, words, phrases, and social skills in an engaging learning environment alongside their peers and parents/caregivers.
