Parent-Child Mother Goose Program

Parent-Child Mother Goose Program:
Training, Support, and Family Connection

Mother Goose is a referral-based program that brings young children and their parents together in a welcoming space to share the power of rhymes, song and story. This program supports early skill development, builds a parent’s confidence in using songs and stories with their baby or child, and strengthens family connections. Through the parent-child Mother Goose program, families focus on the delight and development that come from rhymes, stories and songs, while our trained staff provide ongoing training, support and guidance. Join us and become part of a family-centred community that believes in the power of using rhymes and song to help young children grow. Registration is by referral to ensure there are spaces for families that need the program the most.

Program participants have reported that they have become more comfortable and confident in using songs and rhymes with their babies and toddlers as a result of their participation in Mother Goose. Additionally, Mother Goose leaders have developed trusting relationships with program participants and have offered information on relevant community resources whenever possible.
