Join us on Friday, August 22, for a special evening at Central Library in support of local teens.
Together, we’ll raise $25,000 to offer new, much-needed services and programs for youth at Vancouver Public Library.
With open doors, FREE programs, and the mentorship of trusted librarians, VPL is uniquely positioned to help teens from all backgrounds find belonging, uncover their passions, and shape their future. Funds raised at Rooftop Remix will help VPL reach vulnerable youth with free programs that build creativity, confidence, and connection—ensuring no teen is left behind.
- 5:00 pm Discover new authors, meet fellow bibliophiles and choose a new read courtesy of Raincoast Books in the Literary Lounge.
- 5:45 pm Bookish trivia, live auction and a heartfelt Fund-a-Need hosted by Layne, the Auctionista
- 6:30 pm Canapes, beverages, music and dancing in the beautiful Phillips, Hager and North rooftop garden
- All night! An inclusive, eclectic and FUN experience for book and library lovers who want to give back
Funds raised through Rooftop Remix will directly support inclusive, empowering programs that reached over 6,300 youth last year alone.
Programs like ink magazine, Teen Advisory Groups, and Writing & Book Camp have helped thousands of teens connect with lifelong friends and mentors, discover their passions and purpose, and truly be themselves.
But we know that there are still many teens who need support to reach their potential.
Your Rooftop Remix donation helps ensure no teen is left behind, by providing safe spaces, mentors, and opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
