The 7,500-square-foot Inspiration Lab is a digital hub that lives on Central Library’s third floor. The Inspiration Lab combines traditional and new media in a space built for digital creativity, collaboration, and experimentation: analog-to-digital conversion, sound studios, video editing suites and self-publishing support.
This free, public space has been designed to nurture the talent and creativity of our city and be a hot spot where the next generation of Vancouver’s digital and creative community can get its start.
Whether you want to learn how to convert all of your family’s old home movies, bring in your band to record some songs, self-publish your own eBook, or create a beautiful slideshow of your last trip–the Inspiration lab has the space, tech and team to help you make it happen.
This is kind of a creative playground where anyone can experiment with cool technology, without having to buy their own – and that is very enabling.
